Replaceable filter sponge that in addition to mechanically and biologically filtration reduces the phosphate content in the aquarium water and thus protects against excessive algae growth. The Carbomax filter sponge is effective for up to 4 weeks and should then be replaced.

AQUAEL Filter Sponge Uni Filter Standard. Replaceable bio-filter sponge with appropriately selected density. The bio-filter sponge ensures effective and thorough mechanical and biological filtration of aquarium water.

The AQUAEL Media Pack FZN PRO Standard is the replacement filter cartridge (sachet) for AQUAEL FZN PRO cascade filters. The thick filter wool ensures reliable mechanical water purification and supports permanently clear aquarium water.

The AQUAEL FZN PRO Carbon (Carbomax) media pack combines filter wool with activated carbon. In addition to mechanical filtration, it supports the removal of dissolved chemical impurities and helps prevent water discoloration.

The Aquael FZN PRO Phosmax media pack also contains a phosphate remover. This helps to protect the aquarium from algae growth by reducing phosphates as a relevant source of nutrients - combined with mechanical filtration via the sachet system.
