Artemia nauplii are efficiently and economically reared in a specially constructed funnel-shaped breeding container with vigorous aeration. The funnel shape of the breeding container ensures that no eggs can become trapped in inaccessible corners, ensuring optimum hatching results. JBL Artemio Set contains all parts required to breed Artemia nauplii efficiently:+ Modern funnel-shaped breeding container with domed lid and stand (can be wall-mounted).+ Harvesting container and sieve to separate nauplii from salty breeding water.+ Reliable aerating pump and air hose ready for use.

JBL Artemio 1 is a complete breeding container as in ArtemioSet, but without air pump and hose. The design of the breeding container as a funnel with an outlet tap mounted on a specially constructed stand makes the removal of the hatched nauplii simple and convenient. The funnel shape of the brood conatiner combined with good aeration provides the best conditions for the maximum hatching rate of the nauplii.

Freshly hatched Artemia nauplii (brine shrimp) are an indispensible live food to help you successfully rear young fish with minimum losses. These nauplii are easily hatched from JBL Artemio Pur Artemia eggs as required. The young fry of many species of fish can be fed with Artemia nauplii as soon as they start swimming.

JBL Artemio 2 is a transparency harvesting container from sturdy plastic. Artemia sieve (JBL Artemio 3) and sieve set (JBL Artemio 4) exactly fit onto upper opening. Also suitable for other types of live food.

JBL Artemio 3 is a Artemia Sieve with a mesh size of 0.15 mm. Catches Artemia nauplii and lets saltwater run through. The Sieve fits exactly on harvesting container (JBL Artemio 2).

JBL Artemio 4 is a set of top quality sieves to separate live food from transport water. Sieve sizes: 0.15 mm, 0.30 mm, 0.60 mm and 1.00 mm. Perfect for Artemia, mosquito larvae, Tubifex, Mysis, water fleas etc.

JBL Artemio Sal is a special salt to produce the culture solution required to successfully breed Artemia nauplii (brine shrimp). JBL Artemio Sal contains microalgae as an initial food and a buffer system to maintain the optimum pH level.

JBL Artemio Fluid is a liquid food consisting of ultra-fine homogenised phytoplankton and other essential nutrients for breeding Artemia nauplii (brine shrimps). Artemia nauplii are only able to feed from the third day of life onwards. Therefore only begin to add JBL Artemio Fluid on the third day after the nauplii have hatched.

JBL Artemio Mix is a ready-to use mixture for the production of live food (brine shrimp) professionally, simply and as required for rearing young fish. The mixture consists of Artemia (brine shrimp) eggs and a special salt. The special salt contains microalgae as an initial food and a buffer system to maintain the optimum pH level.
