The application is simple and safe. Uncontrolled and undesirable algae growth is often caused by excess nutrients, mainly nitrate (NO3) and phosphate (PO4). amtra Nitrat Reduct effectively counteracts algae growth by removing excess nitrate from the aquarium water. In freshwater aquariums, nitrate levels should be measured regularly and should not exceed 50 mg/l.

Mit Amtra Nitrat Reduct steht ein weiterer Ionenaustauscher für die Nitratreduction zur Verfügung. Leider sind auf der Internetseite von Amtra keine Informationen zu einer möglichen Regenerierung ersichtlich.
