Tropical Malawi Chips is a multi-ingredient food in the form of tiny, slowly sinking chips for Malawi cichlids of the mbuna group and other omnivorous and herbivorous cichlids. A diversified formula ensures excellent condition and splendid coloration in fish. The size and shape of the Tropical Malawi Chips are adjusted to cichlids mouths, hence promote active feeding and proper chewing of the food. Fibre and nettle regulate digestion. The food contains various sources of easily assimilable vegetable protein, such as green pea and spirulina. Kelp algae (Ascophyllum nodosum), rich in natural mineral salts (including iodine) and vitamins, improve fishs immunity. Wheat germs provide valuable unsaturated fatty acids. L-carnitine addition encourages fat metabolism. Zeolite promotes healthy digestive system and improves the release of toxins from fishes bodies.
Feeding recommendation Tropical Malawi Chips:
Feed your aquarium fish several times a day using small portions.Complete feedingstuff for ornamental fish. Ingredients: vegetable protein extracts, fish and fish derivatives, derivatives of vegetable origin (including green pea meal min. 10%, nettle meal min. 4%, wheat germ min. 3.2%, spinach meal min. 2.6%), cereals (including oat meal min. 10%), algae (Spirulina platensis min. 3.4%, Ascophyllum nodosum min. 2%), molluscs and crustaceans (including krill meal 2.2%), yeasts, oils and fats, minerals (including zeolite 1%). Additives (per kg): Vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effect: vit. A 32 000 IU, vit. D3 1 900 IU, vit. E 120 mg, vit. C 440 mg, L-carnitine 250 mg. Compounds of trace elements: E1 (Fe) 48.6 mg, E6 (Zn) 13.5 mg, E5 (Mn) 10.1 mg, E4 (Cu) 2.4 mg, E2 (I) 0.3 mg, E8 (Se) 0.3 mg, E7 (Mo) 0.06 mg. Colourants. Antioxidants.

Die Pellets sind leider zu gross für grössere Malawis. Man hat das Gefühl sie ersticken daran da sie lange im Maul bleiben, vermutlich bis sie aufgeweicht sind...eindeutig nicht zu empfehlen, dann eher Granulat jeglicher Art wie gehabt!Tommi S. at 29.08.2019:
