The Tetra BF Replacement Filter Foam provides highly effective filtration of the aquarium water in the Tetra Internal Filter IN. The filter sponge contains biologically active bacteria that convert toxic nitrite into nitrate, a plant fertiliser. The sponge structure also provides mechanical filtration, removing visible particles from the aquarium water. Also suitable for marine aquariums.
