The brushes reliably remove deposits and periphyton from motor chambers, pump impellers, intake strainers and openings. The seven brushes o the sera brush set have different shapes and bristle lengths. The kit includes five straight brushes with a diameter of 3 to 25 mm (0.12 to 0.98 in) and two brushes with a curved round head with bristles of 15 and 5 mm (0.59 and 0.20 in) in diameter.
