This external filter is equipped with a patented pre-filter module that significantly reduces the cleaning effort. Coarse dirt particles are effectively removed here so that the main filter unit needs to be cleaned less frequently. The pre-filter can be removed separately without having to dismantle the entire filter - for maximum user-friendliness.

  Several filter stages are combined for efficient filtration performance:
  

  1. mechanical filtration: for the removal of suspended particles and visible dirt
     
  2. biological filtration: supports the decomposition of organic substances by beneficial bacteria
     
  3. optional chemical filtration: for the removal of impurities such as medication residues
