Econlux SolarStinger SunStrip 70 Marine is a LED-light for all marine water aquariums. Through its reflecting lights aquarium water appears nearly alive. Like in nature, sun curl effects appear and increased colour brilliance is given. A number of blue LED with different spectrum from 400 to 460 nm ensures the right light for all corals. Through the large scale lightning and the 120° viewing angle, the growth process of aquarium plants is increased and the plants grow strong and compact. The SolarStinger SunStrip 70 Marine combines energy-efficiency, long life expectancy, natural light spectrum and thought after functionality in a flat aluminium design. During production only environmental friendly materials are used, which are free of mercury. In operation with low voltage technology the Econlux SolarStinger SunStrip 70 Marine has a power consumption of 70 watts per meter. Unlike fluorescent lights HQL or HQI lamps it does not develop radiant heat and only little sensible heat. That's a huge advantage, especially in summer when temperatures are high and aquariums have a tendency to overheat.
Unlike LED lights from many other manufacturers, the Econlux SolarStinger Fresh SunStrip features white LED, blue and RGB LED installed. The RGB LED can be red, green or blue. In conjunction with the optional 5-channel control unit CON1, this allows individual control of the LED light coloure. Multiple mounting options makes this LED very universable. With the SunStrip holders, the light can be mounted in the aquarium cover, over the aquarium, together with a second SunStrip or in an existing T5 or T8 fluorescent lighting. There are nearly no borders in installing this lighting unit.

for how wide aquarium one light can be used? If my aquarium is 40-50cm wide, how many of these lights do I have to use?
Aquaristikshop.com: These light are sufficient for a aquarium width of up to 50 cm and a depth of up to 60-70 cm. For your Aquarium width, one light would be enough.
