powerful pumpKonstantin K. at 01.04.2018:
The description says "quiet", and it is not. The humming buzz at 100Hz is too annoying for a living room aquarium. The damping feet look too small and stiff and don't do the job. Before, I used a streamon+ 5000 unit that I didn't like either (for other reasons) but it was more quiet and I can compare with its larger and softer damping feet.
Compared to the older design, the new one is easier to clean and seems more powerful for a comparable size, may be too powerful, I should have gone one grade lower. The stream power can be lowered in the unit though.
In total, if you are not after quietness, this is a reasonable and well built stream pump.
