The specially developed pleated carbonized fibre utilizes 100% more fitration area for mechanical and chemical water purification. As the aquarium water passes through the cartridges, dirt particles are trapped while liuid wastes are adsorbed resulting in crystal clear water returning to the aquarium. In order to maintain continuous biological filtration, do not cahnge all cartridges at the same time.

3D Carbonized Cartridges for the EHEIM filters Liberty 2040, 2041 and 2042. Packages with 2 or 12 cartridges are available.
